Save Room For Dessert — A Metaphysical Perspective

spiritual dessertsWe are going to encourage you to not only save room for dessert, but to always eat dessert first! If you’re in favor of eating dessert first, raise your hand. Eating dessert first is the thing to do! But here’s the deal: the dessert we’re talking about can’t be found in restaurants, or grocery stores, or in refrigerators.

The dessert we’re blogging about is priceless. It is a necessary ‘serving’ to add to your spiritual practice. It’s calorie-free and gluten-free. It’s the kind of ‘soul food’ that will give you the traction you need to live the life you want.

In his book, Man’s Eternal Quest, Paramahansa Yogananda says: “Humankind is engaged in an eternal quest for that ‘something else’ (we) hope will bring (us) happiness, complete and unending. For those individual souls who have sought and found (their) God (essence), the search is over: (Their) God (essence) is that Something Else.”

Matthew 6:33 in the NRSV of the Bible says: Strive first for the kingdom of God and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you. Matthew 6:33 in the Metaphysical Gospel of Matthew says: “When we live at the speed of our Christ Consciousness, we will not want for anything.”

Living at the speed of our Christ Consciousness is dessert! Striving first for the kingdom of God (Christ Consciousness) is dessert!
Finding that ‘Something Else’ is dessert!

The words quest, strive, and live have similar meanings when they are metaphysically interpreted. The common thread which runs through each of them is this: They all strongly suggest that our intent is to purposefully ‘appropriate’ or ‘take possession of something desirable.’

So, what is it that we want to take possession of before we seek anything else? Dessert, of course! Our Spiritual Dessert!

How to Eat Your Spiritual Dessert First:

Strive for the kingdom of God (Christ Consciousness) first. Take conscious possession of the kingdom of God within you, and all of these things will be given to you.

Align your consciousness with your Christ Consciousness before you do anything else, and ‘all these things will be given to you.’ What things? What things do we get when we put our God essence (dessert) first?

We get things like:

  • SpirtualDessertWordCloud divine ideas,
  • inner guidance,
  • intuitive insights,
  • spectacular hunches,
  • spiritual inspiration,
  • deeper knowledge,
  • extraordinary wisdom,
  • inner strength,
  • answered prayer,
  • emotional centeredness,
  • lasting happiness,
  • incredible joy,
  • inner peace,
  • confirmation of our worthiness,
  • clarity of purpose, and
  • laser-like discernment.

Do any of those ‘benefits of dessert’ sound like putting dessert first? We can tell you from personal experience that you’ll grow into a consciousness which lifts your soul vibration to a higher octave. You’ll come to that place Thoreau calls ‘a higher order of living.’

So, don’t hesitate to seek dessert first. Let your oneness with your God essence be your ‘sweet tooth.’ Add plenty of ‘dessert’ to your spiritual resume.

  • Save room everyday for meditation and prayer.
  • Spend time repeating positive affirmations for your health, wealth and wellness.
  • Align your human self with your Divine Nature.

Without dessert (putting your God essence first), you may find yourself in an uncomfortable, soul-depleting desert (the refusal to accept your Divine Nature). Personally, we prefer dessert over desert. We believe you will too! Why?

  • Eating dessert first will bring you more happiness, love, and joy than you’ve ever known before.
  • Eating dessert first will bring you the ability to manifest and share incredible prosperity.
  • Eating dessert first will bring you the wherewithal to create the life you want.
  • Eating dessert first will bring you the chance to discover your true purpose so you can do what is yours to do.
  • Eating dessert first will bring you the opportunity to show others how to put their God essence first so they, too, will want to save room for dessert.

And so now, we’re going to save room for one last comment so we can put the topping on this blogcast:

bon appétit!
